50 Bold & Beautiful swimmers.
A few small waves, lots of sediment throughout impeding the viz somewhat but a lovely a calm, sunny swim across the bay.

So nice in fact that Gaetan, John and Michael continued on for a double lap.
It’s nice to have Chris back with us, seems that 2 weeks in Byron did something for him…

Our summer badge ceremony is this coming Sunday, 11th March straight after the swim at Manly Wine. Manly Wine are putting on a special breakfast for us, $10 for a muesli cup or egg and bacon roll with a cup of long black or flat white coffee (or tea) only to ensure everyone gets served efficiently. There is also a surprise coming…. !!!! So please come along to be awarded (and pay for) your badge(s), if you didn’t get your badge this time please still come along to celebrate your friends who did and to get inspired for next year 🙂

Read the Reviews – most of the people who bought them were ocean swimmers who swim in 10 degrees and LESS and said they were great and really worked…

What a beautiful day and what a beautiful swim!! Roll on Autumn.
Its looking good for late in the week I think. A few of us considering an unofficial 6k on Saturday if anyone is interested.
Same deal as usual, ie wait for each other at the check points and so on.

Hi Lesley,
They sound like great additions WITH a wetsuit, thx! 😀
Talking of which, I’d like to hear the details of any wetsuits that any of the ladies really love for swimming – must be super toasty for mid-winter, not too difficult to get on early in the mornings and good value, of course!
