Over 121 Bold & Beautiful swimmers

felt the love this morning.

What a morning !  Absolutely Superb 🙂

Even the surf boats are going pink…

After an 18 month hiatus Tomas is back in the swim !! Welcome back Tomas 🙂

The water was super duper fabulous – warm, clear and full of fun

The yacht just not able to sail away, the magnetism to this little part of paradise is just too strong.

For those that didn’t have to rush off to work, enjoyed a real Aquarium party at the point.

This most spectacular jelly feeding the fish had to be the highlight

but then this super friendly, photogenic numbfish might have been too.

Oh my gosh, so much to choose from… 3-barred porcupine fish, leather jackets, cobblerfish to mention just a few

They all got the thumbs up from us

A selection of sensational photos from Stephen

and some from the weekend at the Bondi to Bronte from Simon.  There seems to be a constant theme throughout

Lots of early activity too with 8 swimmers enjoying an early lap of Shelly at 6.20, 13 at 6.30, 4 doublers and 8 Bolderdash

Someone anonymous ?? shared this lovely photo of our legendary 10kers on Saturday !  Shaun why didn’t you tell us u did it ?!?

Robert G has kindly shared this lovely photo of our super 6kers too

    I didn’t realise he’d done it!
    He certainly kept that quiet!

So happy to chat to Tomas after the swim and to know he’s back in the water and looking so well:-))) Congratulations!!!!
Great u’water shots and a beautiful swim, thx for the company on the way back, Izzy and thx to Emer for yest.
Perfect conditions (and those guys on the PC are playing tough) – so I think we should consider a B-Super-Crawl tomorrow, RAINER! 5.40 sight-seeing with no pressure at all! Just remember we’re in training for the 6k!
For B-crawl reservations (must be slower than Slowest Shaun):

    I’m sorry, I thought I told you I did the 10.9 K swim Jules.
Make some time tomorrow, and ill tell you all about the Gropers, giant Flathead, giant Stingray,
The delirium that set in, it then created all these illusions which ill share with you as the weeks progress and my the memory comes back to me.
It was the hardest 11 K I ever swam.
I do protest the attitude of some fellow male swimmers who have mentioned to me it was a “soft” 10
Broken with a walk down the street, a stand on several beaches, lunch at 1/2 way and time for a Latte between the club and the harbor.
To that, – talk to me once you have done 11.1K boys. Hehehe

Also – SIMON, what happened to the photo of me with my arm around the rare and virtually extinct Bradless Lucy this morning? A fast moving lovely creature rarely seen in these waters. I wasn’t expecting to see one until February. I have seen the photo and yes, she is moving FAST. hahaha
Great work on the camera, I thought that would have made the blog!!!

I’d been relying on Brad to clear a nice space in the First Column with his broken bones, crutches and heart-break as Lucy swam alone into the sunset (er post-sunrise).
So shock of shocks to find he’s made a miraculous recovery, back on his bike and in the surf with only a hint of a bruise to show for the big story! Lucy, you’re warned:-)

Oh LSA, you’re not even close to Lane One!!
Maybe you could try jumping out from behind a bush when Brad is riding past…?! Actually please don’t, it’s really exhausting being his ‘full-time carer’ 🙂

    04/12/2012 at 1:11 pm

🙂 Ill tell you all about the 11.2 K as well Michael

Yes Snorks, you did. And thank you for the box set of DVD’s as well, Lips is minding it for me in his rubbish bin, oops, – his garage.
Did I tell you about the 11.2 K swim I did???

    04/12/2012 at 1:17 pm

Oi DWSS! Stop jumping out of nowhere and putting your arm around me then yelling for someone to take a photo!! I might learn kung-fu and then you’ll be in trouble, pal…!! 🙂
Note for the other half of Brucy: please hobble faster so you can keep up with me when I’m walking xx

I know, I know…..don’t rub it in. You know I have twice touched Lane One which is more than DWSS has done, I believe:-)
And I’d much rather have Brad protecting you from all those sharks, even if it means his keeping his L1 slot. Glad your ‘f-t carer’ role is over for today at least!
