A whopping 142 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
gather for yet another magical winter’s morning in Manly, yep that’s right this is winter – pretty damn good hey 🙂
The sun’s shining, the sea is totally calm and there’s not a wave in sight
Time for a little frolic over a rather widespread point before we set off together across to Shelly. I think we’ll have to paint the first telegraph pole pink to help everyone find their landmark 🙂
There wasn’t even any wind this morning so it felt lovely and warm whether you had a second skin on or not
Regardless of the conditions you’ve always gotta make sure those goggles are sitting just right…
Especially if you’re Ben who is out in the bay swimming 20 laps over ~10 hours today. Collie is doing at least half of it with him as they are both training for their up coming Solo English Channel swims. You can see their feeding tent and support crew sent up on Shelly Beach for the day, so please jump in any time throughout the day to keep them company for a lap or two, they will definitely be most grateful and happy to see you.
100 swimmers have currently qualified for their winter badge so far ! With another 186 on target and another 107 who need to swim soon to make sure they don’t miss out… to see how you’re tracking please click here

Stunning today and looks to be the same tomorrow! In fact according to MSW it will be as good as this for about a week.
