60 Bold & Beautiful swimmers
There’s a nice little wave rolling in to Manly this morning, but it seems it’s not only the sea that’s pumping… 😉

Welcome back to Derek Martin who is very happy to be visiting us for 2 days, back from NZ.

A lovely array of colours on the horizon to complement our pink. Lets hope the clouds stay at bay for our sunrise view of Venus passing the sun on Wednesday morning. Most importantly, please remember… to not look directly at the sun !

Swimmers were pretty happy to reach Shelly after a bit of a bumpy swim across the bay.

Time for a quick breather before the swim back.

Where some of us enjoyed catching a wave, and others of us were timing it carefully in between.

Today is the fourth day of winter swimming and the first day of the second week ! Have you done a winter swim yet ? Check out how you and your friends are going by clicking through to the 2012 winter challenge from here
A few great bonus scenic photos below for you to enjoy thanks to James this morning.

Great photos as usual! Nice swell this morning, surprisingly bigger than expected.
We saw a whale fully breaching twice with Nicole from the point at 8am, it was very cool!
23ft (7meters!) expected on wednesday morning according to Magicseaweed, this is insane! From the South though so we should be fine but it’s probably a good idea to go for a drive to Curl-Curl or DY to check the waves out!
