Whilst observing chimpanzees repeat a daily practice around a flowing body of water in Tanzania, scientists recently claimed to have found the origins of spirituality. Explaining the motivation for the chimps ‘spiritual’ behaviour as “being amazed at things outside yourself”.
Meanwhile, at Manly Beach, another rare troop of primates repeat their own morning ritual. And, if we ignore scientists superstitious suppositions for a moment, we may actually learn something from our natural great ape cousins…
That, though it might indeed be with appreciation for what we have around us, the true motivation for our daily commune with nature is possibly more about being amazed at things we discover within ourselves.

Thanks Andrew. What a swim!
I do like the new-and-improved Lesbubbles (6th photo). Will we be able to recycle the old model?
