OOH I nearly forgot!!! Well done to Great BnB Blogger and Tale Puller 🙂 ..Nick Dawkins who represented B&B at the ‘swimmers yarn’ event last night in aid of CanToo at the Woolloomoolloo Bay hotel. He held his own against stiff competition too with female competitors stripping off to their bikinis! Apparently it was a great night!

LSA, impressive performance this morning. To be frank, I expected you to run out of steam before reaching the point after such a long break. Jet lagged and all. But you kept up a good pace all the way to Shelly!

Just an update on the single and “loaded” Binsy,
Apparently our fellow B and B member is considering running for a senior position in the next election for the surf club. Can all the club members please get behind ” our man Binsy ” so that we can get representation on the surf club board of directors.
It would be great to have a genuine regular pink capper put into action some of our topical items of discussion.

LSA & Jon, I haven’t met you yet but I’m looking forward to it. I’ve heard so much about you both and your recent bold adventure with Annie L and the Kayan Long Neck Tribe in Mae Hong Son Province in Northern Thailand. I take my hat off to you rescuing so many of the ladies from that human zoo tourist attraction!
I believe that you were instigators on the University Board that humbled me by the naming of the Rob Binsey Wing at Sydney University. That donation was meant to be anonymous. However, now it looks like the cat is out of the bag! So THANK YOU!
Bubbles and Jane, thanks so much for the other night. Bubbles, I was very impressed with your Cabbage Tree Bay recycled plastics collection (although some of them did have a funny shape and unusual content) and Jane that offer of the Sea Shepard is always open to you and Mark at OzMus. I’d be honoured to be involved in the repopulation of the Smooth Toadfish (Tectractenos glaber) at The Badgery’s Creek Aquatic Reserve and I could give you a few tips as I’m pretty handy at the old hand insemination techniques.

DW I heard the ‘senior position’ was in fact President.
Binsy was regaling us this morning with his tales on the high seas on the Steve Irwin and his body building exploits.
Apparently he is up in arms, has taken umbrage and picking up our cause on our behalf to improve our standing with the club…..he said something about ‘us using the beach all year round and the clubbies only needing it for a few months a year’!
Makes sense to me! The mans a godsend. xxx

That sounds interesting but why would B&B need representation on the surf club board? The surf club is nothing to do with B&B which is how they have strongly expressed they want it and it makes no difference to B&B. Why bother risking complications!?

Binsy, as would-be President, could I mention one important topic for your kind assistance?
First swim back, a bit muddled and talking too much, I left with only one sock. So one ordinary-looking black sock is missing anywhere in the region of the Club. Jon tells me they were his socks, so grateful if you’d track it down and then help us decide whose socks they are!
You’ll be invaluable for all our topical items and for resolving all topical disputes. If you find the sock and resolve the dispute, we’ll help rally votes for you!
