11 Bold & Beautiful Swimmers. The safest swim on the Peninsular today – Manly to Shelly – after a ferocious night with gale force winds and lots of debris on the way to swimming the Stalwart B&B’s made double figures- we had a great swim albeit not too clear.…. BTW only 1 Old & Bold showed up this morning…

it was really the “stalwarts” this morning. We just managed to scrape together 11 swimmers in stark contrast to Old and Bold who had one. Pretty understandable really- what a dreadful day. Gale force winds, the bombie working hard and water temp just over 17c. Still it was really quite a great swim and there was NO pressure on the change rooms this morning. I even had a hot shower and I was the ONLY PERSON in the entire men’s area! So there are some advantages to turning up on days like today! Also we had a Quorum which voted that all the swimmers today got three ‘ticks’ for turning up.
