59 stalwarts of the Bold & Beautiful community decided that rain was not a good enough reason to stay in bed.
Now from our initial viewpoint it didnt look promising to the Australians. However to an Irishman, I have to be honest that I was a little teary-eyed as it reminded me of Irish summers on the beach.
We all huddled under the roof of the surf club. God forbid we get wet!!!

Great “LETS GO!!!” by Rose today. I nearly missed it as I am so slow into Shelly….so I made it easy for you to pick her out of this long distance shot!
I tried my hand at some underwater shots. Some people can look very glamorous while underwater…some people…..well………

It was very weird with 24C temps underwater and 18C on the surface from the rain.
John Kelly managed to figure out how to turn on his GoPro just as we finished the swim!!!

Mea Culpa, I was deterred by the weather, and the Football on telly and the bacon and scrambled eggs I whipped up with mugs of Espresso coffees. I was as consumed by guilt as the victuals were consumed by me. I’m off to get some Birch Twigs to begin the self flagellation.
