Another beautiful sunrise!! This photo doesn’t do it justice at all.
This is my 4th winter – and all done without a wetsuit….cough… My very first winter was unbearable but I was determined to see it through because I knew eventually I would adjust and not only get used to it but really enjoy it…and guess what ? I do now!….My feet even stay WARM during the swim!
Someone drew a love heart on the sand…awww..can’t quite make out what it says inside though?
It’s not Brucy it’s Sophling or perhaps Sterphie? you decide 😉
This is probably the hardest part of the swim…getting in! Brrrrrrrrrrrr
Afterwards though, MAJESTIC!
The water is so blue at the moment….
“Cute baby(s) at end of blog pic”
The Bowes family in pink! With newest member Raymond! So cute… AND he’s NOT afraid to wear his sister’s pink fluffy jumpsuit! 😀
If you need inspiration to get through this winter’s swim here’s a video I put together last winter of photos from 2012’s winter!

Lovely 6;30am swim this morning …Marije managed to find the tail of the wobby – that’s three times now I’ve seen him / her thinking its hiding from us.
She also found the cuttlefish in the shallows.
My lucky find? ;-( a jimble in the last ten seconds of my swim, lips still tingling from the interaction.
Simon – thanks for the drugs, ahem, what were they by the way? I nearly flew to work WWHHHEEEEEEEE!!!! (beware of a man giving you drugs at 7am)

Love your blob today. Great photos and I enjoyed watching the video again. Great soundtrack. I’m loving the ‘fresh’ waters at the moment – so invigorating.

Loved those ‘majestic’ photos of the swim: especially the profile of the smiling swimmer (#7) – such a cute smile! Well done Lesbobbles.

Great to have another Lesbubbs blog!
I also thought it felt warmer than expected, although if didn’t feel my jimble stung until later…..

Speaking of wobbies, I came across a huge one on my way back amongst the large boulders. For a moment I thought it wanted a little nibble, so almost s..t myself 🙂 Beautiful creature, much darker than the smaller ones I usually see … PS: great blog, love the photos too.
