What a spectacular morning !! A real treat for the long weekend 🙂

Everyone was full of fun

Despite the beautiful calm conditions that Shelly drift seemed to be in full flow…

Someone pointed out this helpful tip to help you find the point… (that’s the place we like to gather before we all set off to Shelly together) If you can’t see the blue roof on the surf club in the southern corner of the beach you’ve drifted too far 🙂

A fantastic turnout of people enjoying this morning’s top swim

John Kelly is the quiz master for our up coming B&B trivia night so learn this face and make sure you’re nice to him 😉

You know it’s lovely when 18 people continue on for a double lap !! 🙂

News just in from Nicole Piha from America: Roger starts his Catalina Island Channel Swim in 6 hours… that’s a 5 pm start our time today. They had a bit of a scare this week as Roger ended up in hospital with pinched tendons, but he is now good to go !!! You can follow Roger’s progress via facebook, twitter and a spot tracker through his website here GOOD LUCK ROGER !!!
Stephen’s sporting Roger’s t-shirt in support of Roger today 🙂

Elaine de Jager’s slanted view of this morning’s camaraderie at our apres swim brekkie at Bluewater 😉

A great selection of photos from Stephen this morning too.

Happy 1st birthday to Brigitte Bowes today !
Also happy birthday to Paul Ellercamp and one of our honorary B&B swimmers, The Big River Man, Martin Strel.

There’s me just enjoying my brekkie and Stephen launches himself onto my lap!!!
PS …Rob ….you get half a point today as there is a pic with only half of you in it, I think thats fair! (Let’s not discuss Iain’s whopping 4 points..I’ll start getting upset with only 2 today)

Everyone in the interests of maintaining a pleasant swimming environment, I request that you all drink one litre of water before your morning swim. I can’t handle these 16C water temps any more!

I totally agree with Frosty and Nutty. It is our duty as caring swimmers to warm up the ocean for our fellow swimmers! Sorry about the slanted camaraderie shots but you all look lovely horizontal 😉
Well done Teagan, only 12 and swam both ways without a wetsuit and even offered me her goggles as i forgot to put mine on!
