Summer badge swims
Every Saturday during summer there will be aΒ 6kmΒ swim β usual route is to Freshwater and back; then once a month there is aΒ 10kmΒ swim β this is to South Curl Curl and back.Β However, the final route depends on conditions that day so it is a good idea to arrive a little early to have a briefing from the designated swim leader. Fantastic blog Lesbubbles. I love your round up of 2013! I hope some of the new swimmers we’ve been getting lately rise to the challenge of cold swims, high seas, maggots, jelly fish, bondi cigars etc! See you all tomorrow!

Love the before and after photos of Rusty. Just goes to show that a year of swimming can transform any average bloke into a Supergirl.

Hey Leslie. Loved the reminiscing! The maggot shot reminded me of the fact that I turned around from the beach and entered at halfway due to the appalling smell of the maggots. Thanks for your creative and fun blog work! Best wishes for 2014.

Happy New Year all round and it’s great to be back in sunny Oz. Can’t wait for my first splash of 2014 after 4 weeks of sloth. This morning we flew in from LA and our first sighting of the coastline was Manly/North Head and all those wonderful beaches but we were’nt close enough to see pink caps or wave! Around Botany Bay the sea looked big so I mistook the blog’s pics of huge seas for to-day – glad I was wrong. Great blogs over the past few weeks and fun to read. Must get the App for ticking in, but it’ll be strange unremembering the ritual…

A fantastic blog. If the attendance page can take suggestions I think Magnus and the excellent bloggers photographers and organisers should all feature. It is really so great to swim and have all this extra stuff – photos, comments, attendance photos wtc to look at during the day. Thank you all and happy new year
