Last night was one to remember. Our Bold & Beautiful Christmas party at Bucketty’s Brewering Co. had everything: laughter, connection, a whole lot of dancing, and a cracking playlist that took many of us right back to our glory days – The Killers, Violent Femmes, Fleetwood Mac…etc.

It was so good to let our hair down and have fun with familiar faces – and just as nice meeting new people too (hi Jess).
There was an incredible vibe in the room and a real sense of celebration after a big year of sunrises, swims, friendships, courage, consistency, and salty joy.

We also raised money for Royal Far West – a cause close to all of us. We won’t know the final amount for a couple more days while everything is tallied, but one thing is already clear: generosity is alive and well in this beautiful community.
Congratulations to all the raffle winners, especially my dear friends Stew and Mads.
There were dance moves on display last night that deserve their own award category – including mine. I’m fairly confident I walked away with Best Air Guitar (no formal judging panel required).

And to those who were the last ones standing on a school night and still turned up this morning – you are the real MVPs.
And now… fast forward to sunrise.
After a stunning beach walk to Queenscliff and back to shake the sleep (and questionable dance-floor decisions) out of the body, I finally jumped into the ocean — and it was pure magic. Like swimming through an aquarium. Fish everywhere.
Clear, calming, energising water that washed away tired legs and late-night memories and wrapped the morning in something soft and restorative.

Saltwater joy did its job – and now I’m feeling refreshed, grateful, and ready for the day.
What a night.
What a morning.
What a community.
Summer is here and we are just getting started. 💗🌊✨
